Omega 3/60: The food for the heart

The scientists have long established that the use of marine fish oil reduces the risk of a buildup of plaque and cardiovascular disorders. Fish oil contains omega-3, the unsaturated fatty acids that belong to the group of essential (irreplaceable) fatty acids. These acids are not produced in the human body and it is vitally important to get them every day from food in a sufficient amount and a balanced ratio.

The studies have shown that our diet is almost 80% deficient in omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUSFAs). By increasing the consumption of fish oil, we can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disorders to the maximum extent. It has been proven that cholesterol (the main culprit responsible for the development of a buildup of plaque in the blood of people taking fish oil is maintained at a low level, because polyunsaturated fatty acids introduced into the body compete with cholesterol and removes it from blood circulation.

Omega 3/60 contains a natural oil of marine fish, a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E, which plays an essential part in prophylaxis of a buildup of plaque and associated heart diseases. The studies have shown that the content of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids in the bioactive supplement Omega 3/60 is over 60% of the total fatty acids. The product meets the highest quality standards; it is carefully refined and does not have a specific odor and taste of fish. Moreover, the use of modern methods of fish oil processing (microhermetization of capsules) is the best way to protect omega-3 PUSFAs from oxidation and from destroying their useful properties.

The main function of PUSFAs is their participation in the production of phospholipids for cellular membranes and in the synthesis of eicosanoids, the tissue hormones that control the local cellular and tissue functions including inflammatory responses, vasoconstriction and vasodilatation, and functions of platelets, leukocytes and erythrocytes.

Omega-3 PUSFAs prevent damage to the endothelium and are the structural constituents of cells of the immune, nervous, and cardiovascular systems, and of the eye retina; they participate in formation of these organ systems and ensure their optimal functioning.

The deficiency of omega-3 PUSFAs, particularly eicosapentanoic (EPA) and docosahexaenic (DHA) acids, is one of the causes of the buildup of plaques and associated diseases, such as ischemic disorders and Alzheimer’s disease.

Vitamin E protects lipids of the cellular membranes from oxidation and damage by free radicals and increase physical performance and body resistance to infectious diseases.

Usage:

Omega 3/60 plays an important role in prophylaxis of:
• A buildup of plaque and vascular thrombosis;
• Coronary heart disease, cardiac angina, and infarction;
• Arterial hypertension;
• Cardiac dysrhythmia;
• Immune dysfunction.
